this is used. not a big deal. it looks like it will do what I want. so I heated up the solder and removed the small lengths of wire that were still in the end of the board at the v+ and v- and got a few longer wires to solder in their places. and the trace fell out. I wish I had known I would have taken more care to prevent that.
